Civic Awards, Accolades and Ratings

To make the Kelley Blue Book's kbb.com[1] "Top 10 Coolest New Cars Under $18,000" [note] list, the Civic needed a little more than just the reliability, efficiency and quality it's known for. The 2010 Civic earned its place in the top 10 with intangible "coolness" and features like "futuristic styling inside and out, its highly efficient engine[2] and its available options[3] including a navigation system[4], Bluetooth®[5] and leather interior, all of which are backed by Honda's renowned reputation for reliability."

The 2010 Civic Coupe has received five stars (the highest rating) from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) for its performance in the frontal crash test for both the driver's and front passenger's seating positions[1]. These frontal crash-safety ratings are a testament to the advanced safety engineering that comes standard on every Civic.

Edmunds.com named the Honda Civic Coupe a 2010 "Top Recommended" vehicle for 2010. Edmunds.com noted that the Civic Coupe is "an iconic car whose reputation is well-deserved." Edmunds added further reflection on the status of the Civic, saying, "Icons often get complacent after establishing their excellence, but the Civic continues to be a leader more than three decades after its first appearance on American soil." Edmunds.com observed that the Civic "retains the virtues for which it is justly famed: agility, efficiency[1], comfort and a reputation for reliability."
