Trying to understand what changed on the 2020 Honda Pilot vs. the 2019 Honda Pilot? We'll walk you through a few of the key changes made on this model year.

First things first, the 2020 Honda Pilot is a stunningly stylish midsize family SUV. The 2020 version feels sleeker and easier on the eyes than the 2019s. Continuing the trend of leaning on the more curvy side of the design spectrum, the Pilot's defining boxiness faded away even further with this year's release.

The same trim levels are available: the LX, EX, EX-L, Touring and Elite. However, the 2020 release also came with a 2020 Honda Pilot Black edition.

As its name suggests, it is Black. If the guys from Spinal Tap were in the market for a car, they'd likely and comically go for that Black edition.

The price points vary from year-to-year, so we won't dive into that too much. The 2020 Honda Pilot LX and the 2019s both feature a 280-hp direct-injected, i-VTEC® V-6 engine and Honda Sensing, so no major changes there.

Overall, the excellent features from the 2019 carried over to 2020. The 2020 Honda Pilot LX can seat up to 8 passenger, features a multi-angle rearview camera, and convenient push-button start.
